Graduate Assistant & Graduate Lecturer Breakfast
Graduate Assistants of all kinds (Graduate Research Assistants, Graduate Teaching Assistants, and Graduate Professional Assistants) are welcomed to join us for a FREE breakfast on the Fairfax campus! Invite only.
Graduate Student Career Workshop: Interviewing with Confidence
Ace your next interview with expert tips and practice sessions. Employers use behavioral interview questions to assess candidates’ competencies and behaviors by asking about past performance to help them visualize you in the role. In short, interviews get you the job. At this in-person workshop, you’ll learn how to communicate your skills, qualifications, and experiences for maximum impact. Graduate Student Career Workshop: Get What You're Worth: Negotiating Job Offers, Salaries, and Raises
Congratulations – they offered you the job! But what do you do once you receive the offer? How do you negotiate a salary and non-monetary benefits that reflect your value to the organization? Or if you already have a job, how do you ask for a raise? Join Graduate Student Life and University Career Services for this webinar to learn strategies and tips to be an informed and effective advocate for yourself to get the compensation you deserve.
Writing and Wellbeing Workshop
Rewarding and exciting as it can be, writing at the graduate level is often synonymous with stress. In this workshop, we offer mindful writing as a means of easing the stress and fatigue of graduate writing. Prepare to leave with mindful writing practices and resources you can use in your thinking, writing, and researching.

It's Graduate Student Appreciation Week! We are celebrating graduate students on the SciTech Campus on April 4th from 12PM to 2PM in The Source (Katherine Johnson 122). Stop by for a sweet treat and a gratitude card.
Mindful Mosiac: A Graduate Gathering
Come join Graduate Student Life and SPARK (Scholars Promoting Access, Representation, and Knowledge) on April 4th in 1014 A/B Fenwick from 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm for Mindful Mosaic: A Graduate Gathering. Navigating academia as a minoritized graduate student can feel overwhelming, and SPARK provides a safe and welcoming space for minoritized graduate students and their lived experiences. To start the event, we will participate in a healing music performance led by the CVPA to promote inclusion, healing, and community. Then individuals can create their own art piece to take home that describes, empowers, and reflects their identities as we build community. Art supplies, snacks, and music will be provided; you provide your authentic self.

Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Day at Mason Square
Join University Life Mason Square and Graduate Student Life in celebrating Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week! Join us at the Mason Square campus to celebrate the contributions of Mason’s 12,000+ graduate and professional students. On April 4th enjoy free treats and snacks while making your mark on the appreciation wall located in Van Metre Hall 211.
Mason Graduate Interdisciplinary Conference
The Mason Graduate Interdisciplinary Conference, co-hosted by the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GAPSA), Graduate Student Life, and the Graduate Division, showcases graduate student scholarly, research, and creative works across disciplines through posters, oral presentations, and creative, visual, and performing arts. It also features the final round of Mason’s Three-Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition. Students from all disciplines at George Mason University are welcome to participate as presenters, attendees, or volunteers.
